6F Class 5 12-Runners
I can see 5 known front running types in this sprint and as my top 3 ratings are amongst that quintet this race should be won from the front unless they cut each others throats in trying to lead and tire badly nearing the finish. Profit Given finished 2nd on its only run over this distance but that was a slow run affair and may get outpaced here plus its drawn between 2 other fast starters so might get squeezed out in the early stages, Gnat Alley and Mumayaz both race as though further would suit them but they could enter calculations if the leaders go off too fast but i still think there would be others with better credentials if there was a manic early pace to the race. Oriental Spirit is my 4th top rated but hasn't been in good form recently but if bouncing back to form it could be the one to prosper if the leaders fade badly, Pablo Del Pueblo in stall 7 is my 3rd top rated but with 3 fast starters drawn in stalls four, five and six it could be taken wide and that could scupper its chances. Sir Rodneyredblood has got the worst of the draw out in stall 12 which might ensure that this one doesn't win this race plus its 26 runners and 70 days since the stable last tasted success, my money will be riding on LILKIAN 5/1 who from stall 4 could gain control of the rails and be first into the home straight and kick on and control the race from the front, the stable is in good form with 3 winners from 11 runners in the last 2 weeks.
