2:50 Lingfield Racing Tips (9th May)

LINGFIELD 2.50

There's 8 runners for this class 5 sprint and half of them have been known to lead before so probably a fast and furious early pace which might suit the horse I'm going to back. I'm not sure if there's anything I could confidently put forward as a lay bet in this race but the betting might change that thought, Impeach should ensure the early pace is fast as its my 4th top rated in this race but Pablo Del Pueblo is drawn better in stall 1 and this one is my joint 2nd top rated so it could set the pace and have control of the rails which is always a useful combination, Kensington Agent is the other joint 2nd top rated horse but this ones best rating came on the Tapeta surface at Wolverhampton and its best Polytrack rating isn't near to that level so it may struggle here but I know PORFIN 7/1 likes a fast pace to aim at and this race could be run to suit it perfectly and the 7lb the apprentice jockey claims should enhance its chances even further.

NEWCASTLE 7.45

A field of 10 for this class 5 dash with possibly 2 front running types but one of them Caribbean Sunset has been leading over longer distance races so if getting to the front would have the stamina to win this race but it could also get outpaced over this distance and then might struggle to catch the leaders in time for the victory so I couldn't back or lay this one. Jarvis is the other known front runner and could be dangerous if allowed an easy time at the front of the field but hasn't any English form, its been running in Ireland, so I'm not sure what it has achieved so another I'm unsure about and I couldn't back or lay this one also. Princess Karine and Elzaal are my joint 3rd top rated horses, the former likes to track the leaders before staying on at the finish while the latter can race in midfield or be held up for a late run and will be running on at the finish. Yaahobby races as though a longer distance would suit it better and will be trying to run on at the finish and being my 2nd top rated it could make the frame but my money will be riding on my top rated horse SAAHEQ 9/2 who likes to track the leaders and then stay on the stronger at the finish and the booked jockey does have a 20% win ratio on the stables older horses.
