A nice looking class 3 sprint with 10 runners but with one big problem there’s no known front running types in the race, Spirit Of Nguru 11/4 hasn't any distance form to its name and its form and breeding suggest it will need further to show its best form and might be worth taking on in this race at the price, Silky Wilkie 4/1 may also be better over further so could be added to my lay list along with The Green Man, anything else that might be lays are most likely to be double figure prices so no value to lay as you either risk too much money if you lay it to a set stake or you win very little if you lay it to lose a set liability. Tolstoy has a good rating from Chelmsford but its 3 runs over this course and distance have resulted in slow times so that leaves me with Count Otto as the main danger to the one I will be backing and that is TYGER BAY 5/1 who can either be held up for a late run or race in midfield and then stay on the stronger as the winning line looms and the trainer does have a decent 19% win ratio at this course with their older horses.
Tyger Bay 5/1 4th -1pt
Lay bets Silky Wilkie -4pts, Spirit Of Nguru +1pt
Total on the day -4pts
