7:00 Wolverhampton Racing Tips (21st December)

WOLVERHAMPTON 7.00

This race isn't too bad fora class 6 sprint with 13 runners and 3 front running types amongst them, I will be looking to lay Final Account if its a single figure price as its still a maiden after 17 runs with 3 of them being on an artificial surface and 2 of those runs have been over this distance on this Tapeta surface. The early pace might be set by VIEWFROMTHESTARS 14/1 who is in stall 11 but with not too much opposition to get to the front it could get there and then prove hard to catch but the top weight MY BOY JACK 4/1 is my top rated using Southwell ratings and is only 3lbs below my other selection on course and distance ratings and with the apprentices 7lb claim it moves to top spot but its still a maiden after 17 races so hence why its not my sole bet in this race but my other selection is still a maiden after 10 runs so my stakes will be kept low.

My Boy Jack 9/2 3rd -1pt

WOLVERHAMPTON 7.30

A 9 runner class 4 sprint where a 3rd of the field have been known to lead before and I think this race could be won from the front. Bezza's Lad can produce good ratings but in lower class races and I expect it will be an outsider. If Idoapologise is of value then it might be worth laying as I think it will be better when racing over a longer distance, there is only 1lb between Amber Dew and Ballyare in 4th and 3rd top spots. Intervention 10/3 is my 2nd top rated horse and has the stall 1 draw which is always a bonus for a front runner but I will be putting my trust on MUSCIKA 4/1 who is in stall 3 so should be able to at least get away on terms and if getting to the front it could prove more than hard to catch and the stable has been in form with 5 winners from 14 runners in the last 2 weeks.

Muscika 4/1 4th -1pt

WOLVERHAMPTON 8.00

A class 6 dash with 10 runners and a couple of early paced sorts in Boom The Groom 14/1 and Waverley Star 9/2 and if the former could reproduce its best 2020 rating it would win with a bit too spare but this 11yo isn't the same horse nowadays but this race wont take much winning so might be worth an each way interest, while the latter needs to improve a good few spots to win the race. Nacho Star is capable looking at its best rating from last year, then there is Spanish Angel and Hit Mac who have the same speed rating. The more I look at this race the more I think its a race to leave alone but if the top weight is a double figure price I might have a small each way punt.
