6:20 Wolverhampton Racing Tips (3rd December)

WOLVERHAMPTON 6.20

ABERAMA GOLD 12/1 usually prefers to race in midfield but will need to improve time wise to win this race hence the double figure price.

HIGH VELOCITY 7/1 a three year old who can be held up or track the leaders, stall ten wont help its cause and also needs to improve time wise and looks too short a price.

VESPASIAN 9/2 a front running three year old but it was a slow run race when it won over today's course and distance so looks too short a price in my eyes.

ALABLAQ 8/1 can be held up or track the leaders and stays on strongly at the finish and is my top rated on its best rating and is weighted to beat Intervention.

POCKET THE PROFIT 5/1 is usually held up for a late run but has only produced a slow time at Newcastle and hasn't run over this course and distance.

INTERVENTION 5/1 a possible pacesetter but with two others with the same idea drawn on its inside it may struggle to lead here and is held on form by Alablaq.

MIGHTY GURKHA 10/1 a hold up type who needs to improve time wise and may not catch the leaders in time to win this race and a double figure price because of that.

MUSCIKA 9/2 is versatile with its racing tactics and that includes leading and has the best draw of the known front running types it comes out in second top spot using a 2021 rating.

CORINTHIA KNIGHT 33/1 is a course and distance winner which it recorded in 2021 but will need to stay on strongly to catch the leaders and a big outsider.

TREACHEROUS 12/1 won over this course and distance this year and likes to track the leaders but I'm not sure it can stay on strongly enough to catch the leaders.

SUMMARY: With three known front running types in the race it should be a true run race and Muscika and Intervention would be dangerous if allowed a soft lead but I doubt that will happen, using its rating from Newcastle I will be looking to lay Pocket The Profit who is usually held up but may stay on too late to catch the leaders. I will be pinning my hopes on ALABLAQ 8/1 who is weighted to beat Intervention and will be staying on strongly at the finish and could get a good tow into the race from stall seven with fast starters being in stalls six and nine.
