This a Listed class sprint and the fast track qualifiers final so it should be a competitive race and with four runners that have led before it should be fast and furious. I will be laying *Logo Hunter 9/2 who races in Ireland but all of its best form has been over shorter distances and its sole win at this distance was in a relatively slow run maiden race, it has run against better opposition at times but without ever winning so I would expect the same to happen here and it will tire in the closing stages. Harry's Bar is a hold up type and my joint 3rd top rated along with Tippy Toes 18/1 who likes to lead and has the stall 1 draw so could go well here if bouncing back to form without warning like it did when it won four runs ago so might be worth an each way interest. Another Romance comes out as my 2nd top rated but that is using a rating it recorded on turf at Salisbury so not sure what it will produce here but the betting will hopefully give an indication to its chances of winning. My top rated horse is JUDICIAL 13/2 who won last time out in a Listed race on turf and has been found an opportunity to follow up here and the jockey booking, Jim Crowley, looks a positive one.

A field of 13 for this class 5 sprint and with 4 known front running types it will probably have a fast early pace and could play into the hands of something coming from off the pace and when backing a staying on type in a race you always need a bit of luck for your horse to get a clear run. I will be looking to lay Alcazan 5/1 who will be staying on at the finish but maybe too late to catch the front runners and stall 1 isn't always ideal for a hold up type. Of the front running types the one that could be a big danger is Algheed 8/1 it needs to improve on its best course and distance rating from 2021 but its best Polytrack rating would make it my top rated but I'm not sure if I can rely on that rating, if getting to the front but in the make-up of this race stall 9 might not be ideal. I will be backing two runners in this race, SOVEREIGN SLIPPER 7/1 who can be held up or track the leaders and the trainer has a 22% win ratio with their older horses at this course but stall 12 isn't ideal else it might have been my sole bet in the race while PORFIN 11/1 can also run in midfield or be held up nearer the back of the field before staying on strongly at the finish, I don't know much about the 7lb claiming apprentice but if worth their claim it could tip things in their favour.

This class 5 dash is very competitive for its class with 4 known front running types amongst the eleven runners, Dream By Days 7/1 is a 3yo who hasn't made the frame in its 2 runs on an artificial surfaced track and it races as though further would suit it better so maybe a lay if a single figure price. Bang On The Bell is a possible pacesetter and my joint 3rd top rated along with Kim Wexter who either races in midfield or tracks the leaders. Melody King 10/1 is another possible pacesetter and being my 2nd top rated it ought to do enough to make the frame and could be dangerous if allowed an easy lead so might be worth an each way interest but i will be backing STREET LIFE 9/1 who is a previous course and distance winner and likes to track the leaders so looks ideally drawn in stall 2.
