This isn't a great race even for class 6 level affair, the early pace could well be set by Cowboy Soldier who is my 2nd top rated so could go well from the front but is one of 4 in this race which haven't been in good form lately, Water Of Leith is my 3rd top rated and has been in good form in its last couple of races so could go well but my money will be riding on EARN YOUR STRIPES 4/1 and a repeat of its best from Hamilton earlier this year would put in in control of this race with a bit too spare.

Only 6 runners but 3 of the runners, Abolish, Aleezdancer and My Little Tip haven't shown any worthwhile form recently, Dakota Gold hasn't produced much time wise since 2020 which leaves me with 2 possible winners and my 2nd top rated is Chairmanoftheboard who usually likes to track the leaders and then run on at the finish but it would need to improve a good few spots if the front running HYPERFOCUS 5/2 reproduces its best rating from Chester this year and the jockey has a 15% win ratio on the stables older horses.

A 10 runner race where 3 of them have been known to lead before and 2 of those possible leaders are in my top four ratings, I'm not sure if I can find anything worthwhile to lay in this race, Vandad my 4th top rated using a Bath racing is a possible pacesetter so could do enough to make the frame if others falter, the top weight Han Solo Berger comes out in 3rd top rated spot and its best rating came here in 2021, Symbol Of Hope is another possible front runner and my 2nd top rated using a rating it recorded at Bath this year and it could be worth an each way investment but i will be hoping that GHERKIN 10/1 (EW) will track the leaders and pick them up inside the final furlong and wants good to firm ground to show its best form and if capable of reproducing the time from its run it would be winning this race with a good few spots in hand and has good trainer/jockey stats with their older horses at this course and at a double figure price it has to be an each way bet.

With 16 runners there's 4 places up for grabs so I'm hoping to find an each way punt in this race, the early pace could be set by Cuban Breeze 10/1 but it would need to improve a good few spots to hold on for the win but an each way wager could pay dividends, the top weight Get It 7/1 has never won over today's distance while its best 5 furlong rating would make it my 4th top rated and it has never won at this level so will be a lay if it stays a single figure price, Beyond Equal 25/1 is my 3rd top rated and usually likes to track the leaders, Treacherous comes out in 2nd top spot but that is using a rating from 2020 and hasn't been in good form lately so my money will be riding on LEQUINTO 5/1 who is a hold up type who recorded its best rating this year over today's course and distance and a repeat performance would see it winning a shade cosily.
