1:15 Sandown Racing Tips (21st July)

SANDOWN 1.15

I can see 2 front runners in this field of 11, Saaheq 5/1 and Recon Mission 8/1 may not appreciate the good to firm ground and the latter may be better when tried over further swhile Delegate This Lord 10/1 would also appreciate further and hasn't been in good form time wise lately. Nordic Glory 11/1 is one of the possible pacesetters but it would need to improve time wise to win this race so any or all could be worth laying.  Acrion hasn't any turf form to its name and its best AW rating would make it my 3rd top rated but both the trainer and jockey have poor stats with the stables older horses but could be worth an each way interest, the 3rd front running type Street Parade is my 2nd top rated horse but the trainer has a poor 4% win ratio with their older horses here and the jockey is 0-12 which makes me think the race could be set up for HAN SOLO BERGER 10/1 (EW) who can be held up or track the leaders before staying on at the finish the trainer has a 21% win ratio with their older horses here while the jockey is 1-4 on the stables older horses and if an each way price all the better.

Hans Solo Burger 10/1 4th -2pts

Lay bets Recon Mission -4.5pts, Delegate This Lord +1pt, Nordic Glory +1pt

Total -4.5pts

DONCASTER 5.55

A field of 11 for this class 5 sprint with 3 known front running types So Grateful 9/2 and Giogiobbo are 2 of them but would need to improve time wise to win this race and they may not be able to lead in this race anyway. Athollblair Boy 11/2 likes good to firm ground to show its best but even then it would need to improve on the clock to win here. The top weight Sound Of Iona 9/4 is looking to complete a four-timer but only comes out 4th best on my figures and might struggle to give the weight to some better weighted opponents and might be worth taking on at the price. Point Of Woods comes out 3rd best and is usually held up for a late run but it might be too far for it on good to firm ground. Igotatext 14/1 is the other known front runner and being my 2nd top rated on a time it recorded at Yarmouth last year it could prove hard to catch if getting to the front but hasn't been in great form in its recent runs, my money will be riding on SINGE ANGLAIS 14/1 (EW) who recorded a rating last year at Carlisle that would see it winning this race a shade cosily and the apprentice jockey does quite well on the stables older horses and at the price it has to be an each way wager.

Singe Anlais 16/1 Unp -2pts

Total -2pts

Total on the day -6.5pts
