HELLO ME 15/2 be held up or track the leaders and my second top rated and has what looks a positive jockey booking but may need some luck in running in the early stages of the race.
DUBAI HOPE 2/1 is one of the two known front runners in this race and has the stall one draw which gives it the edge and is the highest rated of the two front running types. But hasn't any form over this course and distance so I couldn't back or lay this one.
EMPEROR SPIRIT 11/2 I couldn't back or lay this one either even though I do think this one needs a longer distance to show its best form but this race could feasibly be run to suit its racing style.
CRIMSON SAND 7/2 usually likes to track the leaders and with the apprentices 3lb claim it comes out as my top rated and in the make-up of this race stall 6 could prove ideal for it and the trainer has a 20% win ratio at this course.
JACKS POINT 9/1 is my third top rated using a rating from Lingfield, it hasn't run over this course and distance before, I think it will be trying to stay on nearing the finish a longer trip might help its chances.
TWILIGHT MADNESS 15/2 is the other known front running type and drawn in stall five and it did record its best rating over this course and distance this year but does need to improve time wise to win this race.
EHRMANN 7/1 I think this one might need a longer distance to show its best form and I will be looking to lay it if its a single figure price but as it has good jockey stats it wont be a big stake lay.
SUMMARY: The only sprint for me today as the soft ground scuppers my races on grass, with the two known front running types drawn in stalls one and five those drawn in stalls two three and four might suffer interference in the early stages of the race and put them at a disadvantage, if Ehrmann 7/1 is a single figure price I would look to lay it, from stall six CRIMSON SAND 7/2 should be able to get a good position just behind the leaders from which to attack nearing the finish and then prove the stronger.
Crimson Sand 7/2 2nd -1pt
Total on the day -1pt
