A couple of known front running types in this race so it should be a true run affair and I thought for a class 3 race I would have plenty to say about each runner but its the problem of what is fit enough to win if they haven't already had a run this year and Twilight Falls 3/1 is making its debut this year and is forecast to be the favourite but time wise it needs to improve a few spots to win this race and its been 143 days since the stable last had a winner which means I will be looking to lay this one along with Look Out Louis 7/1 who did win over this distance on slow ground at Newcastle on the Tapeta surface but on good or better ground this one might need further to show its best, the bottom five in the handicap will I expect be double figure prices so no value to lay but I do have negatives against them and they would be lays if a single figure price, Aplomb doesn't seem to like fast good to firm ground so could go well on this surface which seems to be good, Night On Earth could go well and can be held up or track the leaders and will be trying to stay on at the finish Ornate has been known to lead before but might not be up to winning at this class 3 level so i am hoping the other front running type FAUSTUS 11/2 can lead here from the off and dictate from the front and prove too hard to catch, it won last time out at Newcastle on the Tapeta surface so is in good form and has been found a good opportunity to follow up here.
Faustus 11/1 Unp -1pt
Lay bets Twilight Falls -1.2pts, Look Out Louis +1pt
Total on the day -1.2pts
