6:15 Newcastle Racing Tips (18th March)

NEWCASTLE 6.15

Its a shame there isn't 8 runners so an each way bet would be of value to place but its a race where I will look to lay The Cola Kid 3/1 who might be better over further so will probably stay on too late to win this race also Truth In Jest 15/2 we have another one that usually needs at least one run to gain fitness, I will be backing *CAPLA SPIRIT 7/2 who ran well when finishing 2nd 3 days ago and being brought out this quickly makes me think they expect it to win and is my top rated on Southwell ratings and a figure it recorded at Wolverhampton last year.

WOLVERHAMPTON 7.30

I think the bottom weight Coolagh Magic (NON_RUNNER) may find itself outclassed after being moved up a level despite not winning its last race plus it might need further, there is 3 known front running types so there should be a decently fast early pace but I think they might be setting it up something coming from off the pace although La Roca Del Fuego a front runner comes out top rated using its best rating from Chelmsford and its only run over this c/d resulted in a much lower rating but with the stable being out of form it might be looking towards a future target back on the Polytrack surface, Cuban Breeze another possible front runner comes out 3rd best on my figures but I will be investing my money on SERAPHINITE 5/1 who is usually held up in the rear or midfield and then stays on strongly at the finish and the make-up of this race could suit its racing style down to a tee and it has good trainer/jockey stats.

NEWCASTLE 8.15

I think 3 runners in this race that are running to gain fitness for a campaign on the flat, Blissful Song will I think be a big outsider and not of value to lay but maybe the other 2 Mews House 6/1 and Mister Bluebird 7/2 will be single figure prices and then I will look to lay them, James Watt (NON_RUNNER) is my 4th top rated but hasn't shown much lately and likely to be an outsider, Gowanlad has the best rating from Southwell but that is very limited data and is only 3rd top using other Tapeta speed figures, Khabib is one of 3 known front running types in this race and this one is my 2nd top rated so could do best of that trio but i will be putting my faith and money on BLAZING HOT 4/1 who has 2 wins and 2 placed efforts from its 5 races this year.

Blazing Hot 5/1 6th -1pt

Total on the day -1pt
