This is the only sprint for today and I was hoping to make notes for each horse but its such a hard race to analyse to a conclusion and a few have very little to write about I thought I would do a summary only (no tips, unless you fancy adding to the info).
I could look to lay Sir Cedric 4/1 if its a single figure price as it might prefer a longer trip to show its best form but with four of the runners having been known to lead it could be a fast run race and then the leaders fade nearing the finish which could play into the hands of something coming from of the pace but I think there's 3 horses, Burrows Seeside 4/1, Tell’em Nowt 7/1 and Gowanlad 9/2 will probably finish faster and anyone of these 3 could win the race, Burrows Seeside has good jockey stats and is my 2nd top rated using a time recorded ere in 2021 so could go well but Gowanlad is its stablemate and this one is my top rated again using a c/d speed figure from 2021 but the jockey is 0-17 on the stables older horses but is that meant to put us off the scent as either could win, Tell’em Nowt has the fastest time from recent runs on this surface at Southwell so also has to have some chance of winning this race and finally there is Tathmeen 14/1 is more versatile when it comes to racing tactics so maybe here from stall 11 you wouldn't expect it to be pushed along early to get to the front but time wise it is more than capable of being faster than the other front runners to getting to the front and if doing so could be hard to catch and at the price it might be worth an each way punt. So the question is do I dutch the four of them to win this race, but looking at the tissue prices two of them are forecast to be the first two in the betting which means it might not be of value to dutch the four of them, so do I leave the race alone and watch them run and knowing my luck fill the first three places and make a good forecast/tricast opportunity, or do I lay Sir Cedric and not have a win bet, the more i look the more confused I become so the final decision is up to you.
