Q TWENTY BOY 5/1 hasn't any AW form for this year and its best c/d speed figure from 2020 is only good enough for 4th top spot plus its still a maiden after 17 runs with 5 of them being on an artificial surface.
COOL SPIRIT 8/1 is a possible front runner in this race but has only one win from 14 AW races it would also need to improve time wise to win this race as its only recorded low ratings at both here and at Newcastle.
DYLAN'S LAD 11/2 hasn't any form over this distance on the Tapeta surface and it looks as though it needs a minimum of 6 furlongs so this race looks way too short for it to play a part in this race and i will look to lay it at single figure odds.
ASTROPHYSICS 11/1 has been in poor form recently and its best speed figure leaves it with some ground to make up and I would look to lay it if its a single figure price.
THEGREYVTRAIN 12/1 is another possible pacesetter but lately its been fading a long way from the finish and its final speed figures in the last 2 years is quite a bit below what some of these are capable of on a going day and another I would look to lay if a single figure price.
QAARAAT 9/2 is a rule unto itself lately and is capable of winning this race if in the right mood but its not one i would want to solely rely on in this race but it is my top rated using a time recorded last year while its best for this year is way below that level.
GLEN ROSA 25/1 has poor recent form and is still a maiden after 10 runs, 7 of them being on an artificial surface, and i think it will be a better prospect when raced over further than this minimum trip and might be worth taking on if a single figure price.
MISS CONNOISSEUR 14/1 this 3yo has only ran 5 times and hasn't made the frame in any of those races and is another that looks as though it will be a better prospect when raced over a longer distance and could be a lay priced single figure odds.
FIRST VERSE 7/1 has had 10 races and not won any of them with only 2 placed efforts in those 10 races, the trainer is 0-10 for the last 2 weeks and its been over a month since their win plus has poor trainer/jockey stats so maybe worth laying.
LANCASHIRE LIFE 11/1 is another that might prefer a longer distance but the trainer is 0-6 for the last 2 weeks and its been 40 days since their last win but the trainer has a poor 3% strike rate at this course.
MANSFIELD 6/1 this one is the stablemate of the horse above which doesn't inspire confidence but the apprentice jockey does have a good record for this stable with a 2-5 record and one of those victories was on this horse.
SUMMARY: This isn't a race to be betting too heavily in and maybe just doing a couple of lays would be the best way to make a profit from this race but if pushed I will go with a couple of small bets on QAARAAT 9/2 who is my top rated and is more than capable of winning this race if in the right mood and if in the mood is a big question, but the apprentice jockeys record for the stable makes me think connections are expecting a big run from MANSFIELD 6/1 so it will also have to carry some of my money but my stakes will be kept low.
