6:00 Chelmsford Racing Tips (6th November)

CHELMSFORD 6.00

LILKLAN 9/2 usually races in midfield and then runs on strongly at the finish and with its apprentice jockeys 5lb claim it comes out in joint top position on my own unique speed ratings.

FAUVETTE 7/1 hasnt any form on this course and one slow run on this surface at Kempton to its name while its best figure from Wolverhampton wouldn't be enough to win this race so its one i might look to lay if a single figure price.

TYGER BAY 9/2 has had one slow run race over this course and distance and its best time which was recorded at Kempton would see it fall short of what’s required to win this race so at the price it might be worth laying.

COTAL BEAR this 3yo hasnt any form at this distance on the polytrack surface, its best time comes from Newcastle, Tapeta surface, and that was also a slow time and may need further to show its best and i will lay it if its a single figure price.

STORM OVER 9/1 (NR) has only slow course and distance times this year but its best time from 2019 would make it my 4th top rated and its time from Newcastle makes it joint top but i am assuming tapeta suits it better so i doubt it can win this race but it could feasibly make the frame.

CAPPANANTY CON 9/1 is one of two known front runners in the race and its best time from 2020 makes it my joint 3rd top rated but hasn't hit those heights so far this year and I'm not sure it will but i guess it could possibly make the frame if at its best.

EXPERT OPINION 9/1 a 3yo who is usually held up in the early stages and time wise its only produced slow times over this distance on this surface and 2 of those runs were over today's course and distance so maybe worth laying if a single figure price at the off.

GIORGIO VASARI 25/1 this 3yo recorded a time this year over this course and distance which makes it the other joint 3rd top rated it is usually held up for a late run and may get there too late for the win but might make the frame and maybe worth an each way punt at the price.

CUBAN BREEZE 14/1 a 3yo who hasn't any form over this distance on this surface, it is the other known front running type in the race so could go well but it will need to improve a good few spots on its best time from Wolverhampton to win this race but i cant recommend a bet or a lay.

SPANISH ANGEL 9/1 has been in poor form lately and hasn't any form on this surface while its best speed figure from Wolverhampton would leave it short of whats required to win this race so maybe worth laying if a single figure price.

RED ALERT 6/1 time wise this horse needs to improve to win here and that is mainly down to the fact that its better over a shorter distance so will have to be held up here but i think to no avail and worth laying if of value to do so.

SILVER NEMO 5/1 usually runs in midfield or held up at the back, time wise it needs to improve a good few spots but it could still improve but hope its not here but I'm not sure its value to take on but i also couldn't back it so i will leave it alone and just hope it doesn't win

SUMMARY: There is quite a few that could be worthy of laying (depending on the betting) in this race with my biggest lay being Cotal Bear if its a single figure price, Storm Over a hold up sort could go well here if on a going day and Giorgio Vasari will also be held up for a late run and could go well either could make the frame if springing back to form, Cappananty Con could set the pace to the race and returning to the All-Weather surface could rejuvenate it and maybe worth an each way punt but that 3 possible each way bets competing for 2 places so maybe they are best left alone so my money will be riding on the top weight LILKLAN 9/2 who usually races in midfield and then staying on strongly at the finish and from stall 1 it should be able to get a good early position on the rails just behind the leaders waiting to pounce, it finished second on its last run over this course and distance when giving the leader too much of a head start before staying on but too late to catch the leader the faster early pace in this race might suit it better.

Lilklan 9/2 4th -1pt

Total on the day -1pt
