I have found 2 horses in this race that like to set the pace and the topweight Choosey might run very well from the front and could do enough to make the frame, I will lay (Equipped) who might need a longer trip or a slower surface, timewise there are 7 horses that have a chance of at least making the frame in this race, that's mainly because this race won't take much winning, Choosey, Sheepscar Lad, Robot Boy, Lezardrieux, Billy Dylan and Shepherds Purse all have pieces of form that would make them competitive but I will go with PAVER'S PRIDE 9/2 who won last time out and has been found a good opportunity to follow up in this race and is running with a 5lb penalty before it is assessed by the official handicapper and it is due to go up a further 3lbs when the new ratings kick in.

A field of 8 for this class 3 race which is a poor turnout, I will lay (Cobra Eye who might not like the good to firm going + Primos Comet also may be better with a slower surface) the likely leader is She Can Boogie and it could be dangerous if allowed an easy lead but hopefully, it won't be allowed to pinch the race from the front, Watchable will be trying to stay on at the finish but maybe too late to get the win, the trainer of PEGGIE SUE 5/1 has a decent strike rate at this course it starts off as my 2nd top-rated but the apprentices 7lb claim moves it to top spot by just 1lb, the horse it knocks off the top spot is SALUTI 9/2 and I will have to back them both in this race just in case the apprentice jockey doesn't quite get things right and any error is greatly magnified in sprint races so whichever one gets the rub of the green ought to win this race.
