7:00 Chelmsford Racing Tips (26th October)

CHELMSFORD 7.00

TOMMY TAYLOR hasn't any form on the AW but is quite versatile with its racing tactics and is well housed in stall 2 if it decides to try and lead.

RESTLESS ROSE this one comes out 2nd top-rated on my c/d speed figures for 2019 and still 3rd top overall, it usually likes to track the leaders.

YOU'RE COOL has only slow times over this c/d in recent times it is what I would call a natural frontrunning type.

PROMOTE this 3yo has a fast time but it was recorded on the Tapeta surface at Newcastle but it would make it top-rated overall, different course and bends to negotiate here.

SWISS KNIGHT hasn't any course and distance form to its name and I'm not really sure what to expect from it but it does have the best draw.

ALFIE SOLOMONS has 1 slow run race over this c/d to its name and has proved versatile with its tactics but I think this might be too far in a fast run race. SPIRIT OF MAY looks like the 2nd natural frontrunning type in the race but timewise isn't in my top 4 but its best time was recorded this year which is a positive.

FANTASTIC FLYER is my top-rated over this course and distance times and it was recorded this year which is a positive.

GOOD LUCK FOX hasn't any AW form to its name and from what I can see it might be better off when dropped back to 5 furlongs.

CENT FLYING hasn't any form at this course and its best time from Kempton wouldn't see it break into my top 4 ratings.

UNCLE JERRY has a time over this c/d but from 2018 that would put it 3rd top on this course times and 4th top overall but hasn't any recent c/d form.

VAN MAN TEN hasn't any form on this surface and times at this distance have been slow mainly I think because its better over shorter distances.

SANDRIDGE LAD has only slow times to its name over this c/d and its another one in the race that might struggle to stay this distance.

SUMMARY: With over half of the runners being 3-year-olds it isn't a race to be betting too heavily in, I think the frontrunners will be setting the race up for the finishers and my stakes will be split between 2 runners, the 3yo PROMOTE 2/1 has a time from Newcastle that would make it my top-rated but only by 1lb while it has good trainer-21%//jockey-29% stats which point to connections expecting a big run here but I will also have to back FANTASTIC FLYER 16/1 who is top rated on c/d times and also has good trainer16%/jockey17% stats.
