4:50 Redcar Racing Tips (28th May)

REDCAR 4.50

There's a couple of known front runners in this race with Fair Cop coming out 3rd best so there should be a fast early pace and this one could make the frame, my 2nd top rated is MACHREE 14/1 and its 7lb claiming apprentice moves it to top spot and this one usually likes to track the leaders and my original top-rated MIDNIGHT MALIBU 10/1 is the other known frontrunner in the field so I will go with backing them both each way to cover the angles.

BRIGHTON 5.00

I don't know why I've added this sprint as I've no idea what will win the race, I would maybe have sided with National Glory 9/4 if it wasn't on a losing run of 14 and a better price, both Born To Finish 5/1 and Mont Kiara 20/1 could be competitive here and maybe dutching the 3 of them is the answer.

REDCAR 5.55

I don't usually like these amateur riders races but my top rated LETMESTOPYOUTHERE 9/2 is being ridden by a top class amateur jockette in Brodie Hampson and I will have a small bet as there is just so much that can go wrong in this type of race.

Letmestopyouthere 9/2 7th

SOUTHWELL 7.10

A lovely all weather sprint over the straight 5 furlongs here so the draw doesnt matter too much which is just as well when 7 of the 12 runners have been known to lead before and it might help my cause when my 4th and top rated are drawn next to each other, the 4th top horse is Crosse Fire in stall 5 but its best time so far this year has been a good few pounds below its best from 2018, Samovar likes to track the leaders and comes out 3rd best on my figures and could stay on at the finish so could make the frame, the topweight Eternal Sun 20/1 still comes out 2nd best and can be held up or track the leaders and its a bonus that its best time was recorded this year so at the price it might be worth an each way wager, the one I will be backing though is ARCHIMEDES 20/1 who is a possible pace setter and its drawn in stall 6 and im hoping it can lead or contest the lead from the off and prove good enough to lead all the way but luckily at the price I can back it each way.

SOUTHWELL 7.40

Another nice looking all-weather sprint race, even class 6 races are nice on artificial surfaces, there's is a couple of horses that could be hidden dangers in Inexes and Vinnies Wish but I'm hoping it doesn't happen here, Hollander is well weighted on its best speed figure but that was recorded at Wolverhampton which is a different surface and hasn't run over this c/d before, Granny Roz, Kraka and Poeta Brasileiro have been known to lead but they are drawn 9 and higher so maybe won't be able to lead in the make-up of this race, LIAMBA 7/2 is my 2nd top rated and a possible frontrunner from stall 3 so could gain control of the rails and then be hard to catch and its 3lb claiming apprentice jockey moves it to joint top rated along with GLOBAL MELODY 5/1 so will split my stakes between the pair of them to cover the angles.

Liamba 7/2 1st
Global Melody 8/1 6th
